Skaraborg County ((スウェーデン語:Skaraborgs län)) was a county of Sweden until 1997, when it was merged with the counties of Gothenburg and Bohus and Älvsborg to form Västra Götaland County. The county was named after a fortress ((スウェーデン語:borg)) outside the city of Skara. The seat of residence for the county governor was Mariestad and the largest city was Skövde. The county consisted of the northern part of the province of Västergötland. Even though Skaraborg County itself no longer exists, various organizations are still (in 2006) named after it, and cover that approximate area. These include several newspapers, one public radio channel (P4 Skaraborg) and various non-profit organizations. Also, the local hospital complex is called Skaraborgs sjukhus. The municipalities of Habo and Mullsjö, which were adjacent to the city of Jönköping, ceded from Skaraborg County to acced Jönköping County, on 1 January 1998, following local 1997 referendums. ==See also== * List of governors of Skaraborg County * List of governors of Älvsborg County * List of governors of Gothenburg and Bohus County * List of Västra Götaland Governors * County Governors of Sweden 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Skaraborg County」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
